Keep terrariums in the bright spot in your house. They love an indirect sunny window sill indoors, and also thrive under bright artificial light, making them ideal accents for your desk at work or school. Outdoors most terrariums like indirect light as well. Closed terrariums don't need to be watered regularly as it keeps reusing water through condensation and evaporation. You will notice mist on the inside of the terrarium walls. Water only when no mist forms inside. Open the container lid every once in a while to let air circulation. You typically don't need to worry about pruning plants, only when they start to come out of the container.. Just remove the leaves that have fallen to avoid rotting. You can fertilize if you want for faster growth with any general-purpose fertilizer. They're beautiful and easy-care plants.
